| Lazy Daisy can grow to twenty inches tall and has a flower with long white petals and a yellow center. It is found in sandy, open, prairie, old field, pasture, or woodland sites of the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains. It is in bloom from February to November. The buds tend to droop until midday when they open, giving it it's name. The leaves and flowers are frequently eaten by white-tailed deer and cattle. | |
