| Little Bur-head is found growing in wet sandy soils near ponds in both the South Texas Plains and the Edwards Plateau. This plant is delicate and small, only reaching a height of about 4 inches. The leaves are narrow, one and a half to two inches long, and taper at both ends. The white flowers are grouped with two or more on a single stem and measure less than one half inches in diameter. Little Bur-head blooms from March through April. | |
