Lovegrass Tridens is found growing in brush in the Edwards Plateau and South Texas Plains. The collar has many hairs and they stems can reach a height of 1/2 to 3 feet. The narrow leaves are flat and thin. The panicles have few branches and few seeds. The seeds have a reddish tint and tend to hang down as they mature.
