The aim of the Wildlife Program at the Uvalde Research Center is to further the understanding of the ecology of wildlife resources in south Texas and semi-arid environments. Current research projects consist of fundamental and applied investigation into habitat use, population dynamics, species interactions, and foraging behavior of wild herbivores.
