Educational Exhibits

* 125,000 people visited the Texas Trails Tent at the San Antonio Livestock Exposition in February where they could pick up information provided by the Bexar County Extension Faculty on conserving water in home landscape through using PET (Potential Evapo-Transpiration) and xeriscape.
* Leadership for a Water 2000 Plus educational exhibit was provided by County Extension faculty during the Gillespie County Fair where 8,000 residents could obtain information on water conservation and water quality.
* A Water 2000 Plus educational exhibit was provided by County Extension faculty at the Burger Ranch during the Austin/Travis County Livestock Show in February reaching 1,500 school youth and another 10,000 visitors.
* A Water 2000 Plus educational exhibit was provided at the Boerne Business Expo on March 25 in Kendall County where seven Extension volunteers answered 53 water-related questions and reached 500 county residents with information on water quality and conservation.
