| * The Bexar County Extension Master Gardeners handled 226 water rebates where residents are rewarded for converting to more water efficient landscapes utilizing more water efficient plants. 210 site visits were also made. $279,358 has been rebated since the program began in January 1995 and this program is an ongoing part of the Bexar County water education program. |
| * Extension Master Gardeners and Master Naturalists in Hays County from January to March were involved in eight educational activities reaching more than 2000 participants with information related to water conservation and quality. |
| * Extension Master Gardeners in Comal County from January to March answered 600 water conservation related questions and reached another 675 persons through volunteer programs under the direction of County Extension faculty who provide training and resources for these Extension Master Volunteers. | ![]() |
| * Extension Master Gardeners in Bexar County from January to March answered over 500 water related questions and reached another 127,000 county residents through programs under the direction of County Extension faculty who provide training, resources and coordination for these Extension Master Volunteers. |
| * A class of 54 Master Gardeners are being trained in Travis County with a focus on water conservation and water quality issues. These 54 Extension Master Gardeners will fulfill volunteer roles under the direction of County Extension faculty addressing water quality and water conservation issues. |
| * Extension Master Gardeners in Travis County from January to March answered water conservation questions and staffed five plant clinics in nurseries and the botanical garden which addressed water quality and water conservation questions. 675 residents have been reached through Extension volunteer efforts addressing water issues. |
