Labs, Greenhouses, High Tunnels

Two greenhouses, five conventional field high tunnels and two organic field high tunnels are dedicated to dedicated to research on specialty crops, containerized transplants, hydroponics, grafting tomato and pepper, and onion breeding.

Conventional Field

More than 100 acres equipped with precision irrigation systems include a linear LEPA and two center pivots, plus 50 acres of drip and sprinkler irrigation dedicated to research on cropping systems and sustainable production, crop improvement, and genotype responses to abiotic and biotic stresses.

Organic Field

Five acres of organically certified land are dedicated for research on vegetable production and breeding, nutrient use efficiency, soil health, and cultivar adaptation.
